Region Maps highlights vanishing when clicked on the map/zoom buttons/maximize panel

Hi @Vijay ,

Opening a new thread for region maps.
For OpenSearch and OpenSearch-dashboards version 2.6.0.
The region maps with ISO-3166-1 alpha-3 Code for world countries vector map.

The data gets loaded initially.

But once clicked anywhere on the zoom(+/-) /fit to data buttons the data mapping is vanishing.

If clicked on the refresh button it is again appearing correctly.

Could you please look into this as it is an issue for user experience.
This issue is replicable even for USA states, Canada provinces.

The vector map of world countries with join field ISO-3166-1 alpha-2 Code does not seem to have this issue.

Please let us know your feedback/suggestions on how to proceed further .

Seeing the issue in dashboards too.
When added the visualization to the dashboard and saved the dashboard its loading in Firefox but not loading in chrome.

and the highlights are shown once refresh button is clicked.
Could you please look into this at the earliest.

Thanks @tejashu , we faced this issue in 2.3.0 Was thinking it is an issue with our vector joins.

+1 on this one. Same has been observed in our case too… the work around to use refresh was not accepted by our user base as a solution because it causes to vanish on any action we do on the map.

Hi @Vijay

Could you confirm if the region maps is loading in chrome brwser.
Its not loading once the visualisation is added into a dashboard and viewed in the dashboard.
Its loading in firefox but not in chrome.
Could you please confirm this and let us know your feedback/solution?

The highlights is vanishing even when we do maximize panel from dashboard.

Highlights vanishes if the panel is maximized.

Please let me know when would this be fixed.
