@nelson Any changes to the index pattern are saved when you change the necessary field. Are you saying you are not able to make though changed? Or create new index pattern?

Thanks alot looking into the issue
i couldnt create index patterns through discover.
i finally got it resolved, someone else posted similar issue, i had to comment out this line
opensearch.requestHeadersWhitelist: [“Authorization”, “securitytenant”]
in the opensearch-dashboard.yml file
That resolved the issue, so “discover” is now working correctly and am now able to see this below
