I guess that’s a “no”, but can I plug OpenDistro Kibana on a existing Elasticsearch, which is not from the OpenDistro edition ?
I have all my data already in Elasticsearch, that would be great for testing OpenDistro.
@jean-rene Open Distro is Elasticsearch and Kibana 7.10.2 . It’s literally the same binaries. The only difference is the plugins. So, yes, you could but if you have x-pack stuff that won’t work.
When you say ‘testing’ Open Distro, that alarms me. Open Distro shouldn’t be used for new deployments. You should look at OpenSearch.
