Versions Opensearch Dashboards 3.5.0. Browser: Chrome latest

Describe the issue:

I’ve just updated OpenSearch Dashboards to version 3.5.0. it seems that changes ha e been introduced for Table visualizations. Now, the entire contents of each field is shown in the screen, using multiple lines if necessary – which is probably a good thing.

However, there’s two issues that are problematic:

  • Now my tables are wider than the screen – so I have to scroll right to see the entire contents.
  • It seems it’s also now impossible to set the witdh of each column.

Both of these things are bad, and my table visualizations are now suboptimal.

Any clues?

@fgont I’ve compared 3.4 and 3.5, and I can confirm that columns can no longer be resized.
