I’ve lowered the minimum post length to 2 (it was 20)

Pro:

  • this will allow “+1, +0, -0, or an informal veto -1” where & when appropriate

Con:

  • the setting is default at 20, done so to discourage potentially annoying behavior (example, someone replying to a forum thread with just a ? or the like)
  • this is a forum-wide setting

This was mostly done to enable ‘votes’ on topics in the Maintainers category.

If we notice this become abused, I’ll move it back up to 20 and we’ll use the polling feature instead.
