How to install Anomaly Detection Plugin

Hi the 1.7.0 release highlights state that " The anomaly detection plugin has moved out of the preview phase and is now generally available. It comes with a easy-to-use Kibana user interface."

However the docs say “Anomaly Detection is a preview plugin, which we do not recommend using in production. It’s currently in development and is subject to change.”

If it is available how do we install it? The documentation on the plugin tells you to build it with commands that launch a new instance of ES. Can I install it on an existing cluster using something like sudo … install … plugin.zip such as is provided for other plugins like the alerting plugin?

Sorry that we forgot to change that doc. You can install directly now. No need to build from source code. Have updated that doc.
