Cross Cluster Anomaly Detection

I am trying to setup an anomaly detector in Opensearch dashboard on a remote index in a cross cluster setup. I managed to do the majority of the configuration, however when trying to “Enable categorical fields”, the setting is greyed out.

Would you be able to indicate whether categorical fields can be setup when using a cross cluster remote index?

We want to acknowledge that our current support for remote indexes is not comprehensive. This might be causing certain user experience difficulties like setting categorical indexes.
