Will Opensearch be compatible with Wazuh distribution?

I need to upgrade a Wazuh distribution on a cluster, and switch to the one that integrate Opendistro. I recently heard about Opensearch, I was wondering if I could integrate it instead of the Wazuh OSS distribution. Is Opensearch compatible, or will it be compatible with Wazuh ?

I did not find a Topic on the subject, I hope I did not miss it.

They are actively working on supporting OpenSearch.
