Do you plan to implement a future Upgrade Assistant?
Thats a good suggestion. On the AWS side we have not currently prioritized it (we have this logic in our orchestration system of the service [control plane] that does this validation - so it is not necessarily easy to port it into ES / Kibana [data plane]) - that said lets see if other people are interested or if others would be interested in contributing this. I have created an issue here so feel free to +1 it.
