Snapshot Management Option not in OpenSearch Plugin Menu

Versions (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):
OpenSearch version 2.3

I am trying to setup Snapshot Management for my OpenSearch instance. It seems as though I should be able to set this up in the dashboard based on this page: Snapshot Management (SM): A new way to automate snapshots · OpenSearch

But the Snapshot Management option is not there in my dashboard:

Can you see it under Index Management? Meaning click on Index Management.

This is what I see under Index Management. I clicked through all the options and don’t see anything for Snapshot Management

No, I haven’t done that. Thanks for the information. How does that work if the OpenSearch instance was created using the AWS CDK? It seems like those instructions are for installing OpenSearch on a local server, but I may be misunderstanding.

I really dont know, I havent used AWS CDK.

I believe so, but if you can take what the document is showing and convert it to what you need on AWS CDK it might work. Unfortunately I dont know.
