Refresh Data Selector button not working

Versions (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser): 2.18.0

Describe the issue: The button to refresh data selector doesn’t work (see screenshot). We’ve made several changes in the UI, so we suspected it was coming from our end; however, we also deployed a vanilla OSD and the button doesn’t seem to trigger anything either. I’m assuming it does some sort of fetching, but we also don’t see anything in the network tab.

  • What is the purpose of this button?
  • Is there some API call after clicking on it?

Mind you we tested in both 2.18.0 and 2.19.3 versions.
