OpenSearch Mumbai User Group Meetup: A Room Full of Developers, Ideas & Community
Mumbai showed up for OpenSearch!
We recently hosted the OpenSearch Mumbai User Group Meetup, bringing together developers, cloud enthusiasts, open-source contributors, DevOps engineers, and technology enthusiasts for an evening of learning, conversations, and community.
And honestly — the room was packed.
It was amazing to see so many developers come together, creating an energetic atmosphere right from the beginning. From technical discussions to questions, networking, and conversations after the sessions, the meetup felt like exactly what a community meetup should be.
Two Speakers, Two Perspectives
We had two fantastic speakers who shared their experience and insights with the community.
Jatin Mehrotra, Developer Advocate at AWS, joined us for an engaging session around modern developer technologies and the evolving cloud and AI ecosystem. His experience working closely with developers brought a practical perspective to the discussion and sparked plenty of questions from the audience.
We were also joined by Nikita Shinde, who shared her knowledge and perspective with the community, adding another valuable dimension to the meetup.
Both sessions gave attendees an opportunity to learn, ask questions, exchange ideas, and connect with others working in the technology ecosystem.
More Than Just Sessions
Of course, the meetup wasn’t just about presentations.
There were plenty of conversations, networking, laughs, and moments that made the evening memorable. Seeing developers from different backgrounds connect with each other was one of the best parts of the event.
A packed room, enthusiastic attendees, interesting discussions, and a lot of fun — that’s what made this meetup special.
A huge thank you to Jatin and Nikita for taking the time to speak and share their knowledge with the community.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up and made the evening what it was.
Your energy, questions, and enthusiasm made this meetup truly memorable.
We’re already looking forward to hosting many more OpenSearch meetups in Mumbai with deeper technical sessions, hands-on demos, more speakers, and even more opportunities for the community to learn and build together.
This is just the beginning.
See you at the next OpenSearch Mumbai meetup! ![]()
