I am trying to pass new service sample data(in this case logstash) to opensearch sample datasets but im having trouble with the following error
index not found exception
has anyone faced a similar problem ?

You can take a look at the log of your OpenSearch server.
In the log you should find the security exception why the user could not perform a certain task.
Did you updated the Role Permission and Role Mappings for you Cluster or is this a fresh installed OpenSearch Cluster?
