Hi there, I am trying to set the dark mode that comes with Kibana, but this appears to be a global setting, not something that is set per user, which basically makes it useless as most people I work with don’t use dark mode. Is there a way to set this just for me, otherwise it’s not really a useful accessibility option, it’s a design choice, which is a bit of a waste

This issue has already been reported here.
Currently the “Enable user control” switch only allows the users to switch to dark mode globally (per tenant).
Thanks for that. It’s a bit poor that this hasn’t been implemented as an accessibility feature. I use Kibana on and off all day and it’s one of the few systems I use that doesn’t have a dark mode (including this forum which has a user based dark mode option), so I get bad glare every time. Given this is something that was reported 4 years ago, I assume it’s not something we’ll see sorted out any time soon, which is a shame
