How can i do a manual rollover for all indices to the newest index policy

this is solved here. but it does not work for open distro.

as i am unable to set index.lifecycle.indexing_complete to true
is there something similar in open distro version?

Need this function as well. Did you get ths managed?

nope. basically because of that rollover were getting triggered out of sync… and multiple index were in hot state and roll over were pendingon them. i had to manually remove the policy on those indices.

it was really painful. nope i have to come back and delete them or create a separate policy to take care of them.
