Filter not working in gui Alerting plugin

Versions (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser): OS Dashboard 2.8/ Alerting plugin, firefox and Chrome on OSX

Describe the issue:
I want to create an alert when more than 10 errors are logged during 1 hour via the Gui. When filling in the filter it doesnt take the changes.

I can pick json.log.level from the list but when I type the word error in the text field and hit enter or tab out of the field, the filter is not accepted (same for “error”). The browsers console.log writes “Unknown query operator detected: is”. I tested this on latest OSX with Firefox(115.0.2) and Chrome versions. Clicking outside of the popover after filling in the fields has the same effect.
