Field added to newer docs in index have Unknown field message in dashboard

Hello,

Logstash is adding some fields as it brings data from RabbitMQ to OpenSearch. I have just added two more location_latitude and location_longitude which are numbers (float).

When looking in a Dashboards dashboard, they are showing as:
Unknown field

And show the message:
No cache mapping for this field. Refresh field list from the Management > Index Patterns page

@big-edd That is expected. Any index’s new field after creating an index pattern will be reported as unknown in the index pattern.
Per the message, go to Dashboards Management → Index Patterns and refresh the field list.
