Creating PDFs with third party reporting platforms

Versions: Opensearch 3.0, Jaspersoft Studio 7.0.3 Windows, JasperReports Server 7.0.3

Describe the issue: I am trying to figure out how to make PDF reports from the content collected by OpenSearch but I haven’t had any luck. I tried to use Jaspersoft for creating PDF reports and connecting them via JDBC adapter, however, I haven’t been able to pull any data down from the OpenSearch server even though the Jaspersoft Studio and OpenSearch server are able to recognize each other. Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative software to use to create PDF reports or troubleshooting ideas for OpenSearch + Jaspersoft?

Hi @mancus ,

You can generate PDFs in reporting via Dashboards, you can also set schedules and have them generated daily, by interval or by cron. Then these reports can be downloaded.

Do you require an external method?
