Source code in this repository is covered by one of three licenses: (i) the
Apache License 2.0 (ii) an Apache License 2.0 compatible license (iii) the
Elastic License. The default license throughout the repository is Apache License
> 2.0 unless the header specifies another license. Elastic Licensed code is found
only in the x-pack directory.

The docs directory does not specify another license, nor do the files contain any license header.

So I would say they are good to fork, but I’m pretty sure you have the right legal guys to confirm that.

The strongest signal is the header, so we can be sure of the license on those. We are being as careful as possible - our ‘people’ are on it.
