I had recently installed Opendistro and configured metricbeats across all our infra servers. I understand that the default dashboards would have metricbeat-* index. Is there a possibility to change the index pattern to a custom pattern. We wanted to classify servers with different index patterns for delegating RBAC access based on index.
I understand that the same can be achieved by changing the index patterns for visualiations and create a dashboard out of it. I wanted to know if there is a way to tweak the out of box dashboards changing the index patterns alone.
