NO. Please don’t follow his advice, you will end up with data being lost. The problem can be found into the logs, there is usually some tenant which is not being migrated correctly and you have to delete that one.
Restart opendistro and the migration will continue. You may have multiple tenants running into this issue…
I manage to recover the cluster state with the method mentioned above.
