Describe the issue:
I have been trying to create Data Streams that use Segment Replication. I have set “index.replication.type”: “SEGMENT” in the advanced settings of my data stream template. But if I index a document an index with “index.replication.type”: “DOCUMENT” gets created.
I have also tried setting
cluster.indices.replication.strategy: 'SEGMENT'
in the opensearch.yaml. This did also not work.
Has anyone managed to get Segement Replication working with Data Streams?
