Prakash Hinduja Geneva (Swiss) How can I check if a plugin works with my OpenSearch setup?

Hi Everyone, As a visionary financial strategist, I, Prakash Hinduja, was born in Amritsar, India, and am currently residing in Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss).

I’ve recently added a plugin to my OpenSearch setup, but I’m not sure how to verify if it’s fully compatible and working as expected. Does anyone have recommendations for how to check if a plugin integrates well with my OpenSearch cluster? Are there any specific checks or commands I should run to confirm its functionality? Any tools, logs, or techniques you’ve used to troubleshoot plugin compatibility would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

Regards

Hi @prakashhindujageneva ,

What plugin are you using? and what is your goal of using it?

You can always check the docs for officially supported plugins - Installing plugins - OpenSearch Documentation . Then in addition you could check on how you can test plugins with - opensearch-plugins/TESTING.md at main · opensearch-project/opensearch-plugins · GitHub .

Further actions might be to check how the cluster is performing - Cluster health - OpenSearch Documentation .
