Permission errors on indices:data/read/search[can_match]

With OpenSearch 1.3.4 I’ve got a role that has read and search permissions granted.
I’m seeing Opensearch Dashboards users with this role with permission errors on indices:data/read/search[can_match]

Should this permission not already be covered by the existing permission groups read and search?

I’m unsure what thing in OpenSearch Dashboards is actually making the requests that are failing so I can’t reproduce.

@jong I’ve just checked and it is. Could you check if the roles assigned to the user cover all indices that they should have access to?

@pablo Thank you very much for checking. Yes the role definitely covers the index. Very odd. I guess I will monitor the situation and see if this occurs again with any frequency. Thanks for your help.
