OpenDistro security - Is Authentication is mandatory to use TLS

I wanted to use only TLS from OpenDistro security plugin. But, I am getting errors, which are mandating to use Authentication as well.

Without using Authentication, can we use TLS alone?

@ddramireddy what version of odfe are you using? Up to and including 1.9.0 you are able to allow anonymous users without the authentication screen. No longer the case from 1.10.1

I am using 1.4.2 . I am able to allow anonymous users by enabling this property “anonymous_auth_enabled”. However, I am planning to go with user authentication.

@ddramireddy I don’t follow, is the issue resolved then? Or what is the expected behaviour vs current behaviour?
