Is There a GitHub Issue Tracking the "Upgrade to opensearch 2.17.1 blocked because index.knn is set to false"?

Versions (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):

  • OpenSearch: 2.17.1
  • Running in GKE

Describe the issue:
The issue discussed in this forum thread was automatically closed due to inactivity. I wanted to check if there is a corresponding tracker bug for this on GitHub. I couldn’t find one among the open issues and wanted to confirm.

Hi @rahulkr - this got fixed as a part of Allow validation for non knn index only after 2.17.0 by VijayanB · Pull Request #2315 · opensearch-project/k-NN · GitHub. Forgot to create an issue around it. It was released as part of 2.19.0
