Hi,
I am trying an upgrade from Elasticsearch 7.10.2 to Opensearch 1.3.1. While running securityadmin, I am getting below error:
ERR: Your cluster consists of different node versions. It is not allowed to run securityadmin against a mixed cluster.
Minimum node version is 7.10.2
Maximum node version is 1.3.1
I have found this env setting “OPENDISTRO_SECURITY_ADMIN_ALLOW_MIXED_CLUSTER” which allows securitadmin to run on a mixed cluster. However, this is not referred in any documentation. Kindly update if there are any implications on adding this env, can this be used in our upgrade scenario?
