Index.max_docvalue_fields_search settings for new incoming index

Versions (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):

opensearch 6.1.0 docker

Describe the issue:

New incoming index the shards got failed when doing a query, current solution is every coming index i’ll update and increase the index.max_docvalue_fields_search from 100 to 120 manually

So, how to update that setting automatically for new incoming index? is that possible?

Seems not possible to do that inside OpenSearch.

You can update the Index Template and add “index.max_docvalue_fields_search”: “120” on the advanced settings.
