Index Backpressure documentation needed

Hi all,

I’ve read the documentation on a feature called Shard Indexing Backpressure. Judging by the title and bit of documentation available it sounds awfully interesting and might match a use case we have in production.

I was wondering where can I find a deep detailed information on that feature. I can read the code for a week and reverse engineer a documentation page, but it was written not long ago, I was wondering if the author is here and can share the design document for it, motivation, use cases, etc?
