How to get hold of Logs for Rollup Jobs Exception Erros and Failures?

Describe the issue:
Rollup Jobs are hitting a "Failed Backing Index has to have a owner rollup Job issue making the data in rollup index not searchable.

How do we retrieve/ fetch logs from this issue in the rollups?

Hi @RamyaViswanathan_NJ ,

  • On Docker and tarball installation OpenSearch writes most logs to the console and stores the remainder in opensearch/logs/.
  • On most Linux installations, OpenSearch writes logs to /var/log/opensearch/.
