How to add app permissions for OpenSearch dashboards?

I have given kibana_read_only role to user so that he should only see dashboards and nothing else on the dashboard UI.

But when I try to navigate to OpenSearch Dashboards from home page as below, I am getting application not found error for opensearch_dashboards_overview.

What should I do to get access of dashboards from home page with same role? I am using OpenSearch Dashboard v 2.18.0.

Hi @sayalipatil9689 ,

To view dashboards, you also have to create a role with read and search permissions for the indexes that are used in your dashboards. I tested this in my lab using the following role configurations.

But in this case, I am not able to see dashboards list.

My requirement is to view only dashboards from menu as well as from home page.
