Last week, we released Data Prepper 1.2.1 as a .tar.gz distribution for Linux. Prior to this release, Data Prepper for OpenSearch was only available as a Docker image.
You can download the Linux archive from the OpenSearch Downloads page. Find Data Prepper and change the “Platform” selection to “Linux.”
If you have been unable to update from the OpenDistro distribution of Data Prepper because it was not available as a Linux archive, now you can. The OpenSearch distribution is the active distribution of Data Prepper now.
