Describe the issue: Cursor lags behind text insertion point in Discover search area

Issue started after enabling below features:

data_source.enabled: true
explore.enabled: true

@Jijo.john Which browser did you use? Did you try more than one browser?

Hi @pablo , yes i have tried in chrome and edge both are giving the same behavior..i can see this issue also here

@Jijo.john I’ve tested both 3.3.0 (reported in GitHub) and 3.5.0. I couldn’t reproduce lagging either in Chrome or Firefox.

Could you share the full opensearch_dashboards.yml? Is it a local deployment (e.g., laptop/PC) or a remote/cloud server?

What OS did you use for browser testing?

@Jijo.john I repro this on my Windows Server 2019 and Windows 11 using Chrome and Edge browsers. Firefox works fine.

It looks like OS related and Chrome based browsers + Edge issue.

I had no issues on my MacBook M3 using Chrome, Vivaldi, Safari and Firefox.

Thanks @pablo for looking into the issue. This is deployed in an EC2 instance with Amazon Linux 2023 server OS and accessing the OpenSearch url from my laptop (Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2). I have also tried it from a windows server 2016 desktop with chrome browser, we have the same issue but in the same server with Firefox its working fine. So yes it seems to be Chrome + Edge browser issue
