Configuring OpenSearch Index with Synonym file from API

Hi,

I was trying to work with the synonyms functionality in OpenSearch but couldn’t find any. We found some examples relevant to ElasticSearch(as shown here Synonyms Guide | Elastic App Search Documentation [7.10] | Elastic) but those endpoints are not accessible for OpenSearch. Can someone nudge in a better direction to get started with synonyms in OpenSearch?

Opensearch supports synonyms using Synonym token filter, pretty much the same way it is described in the Elasticseach documentation [1]. Hope it helps.
