Describe the issue:
Hi I’m new to OpenSearch, and I’m trying to setup OpenSearch for report gathering. In my case, it involves gathering data from multiple tables in our DB, then performing some data transformations, and calculations to generate a single report. So I thought I might be able to do this, with openSearch by creating a “dependent” index (what i mean is this index has fields that are dependent on data in other indexes) that has fields that are populated via a CDC policy, which monitors the “independent” indexes for new data, and when new data exists, it updates fields of a document in the dependent index. But i couldn’t find any reference to the CDC plugin anywhere, has it been removed ?, or renamed?. If so what are the alternatives to monitoring indexes/fields in indexes and triggering an action when new data is detected.
