Describe the issue:
We are using Informatica DIE on premise to connect to AWS Opensearch cluster within VPC. Connection is successful , however we are not able to see the indexes as objects. Using latest Opensearch JDBC driver and correct URL configuration.

This sounds like it’s related to [FEATURE] BI tools compliance with complex objects · Issue #1793 · opensearch-project/sql · GitHub. Other BI tools use SELECT * to describe tables, and complex objects don’t return correctly from the JDBC driver to be used in BI tools.
