# Will OpenSearch support server clustering?

Absolute beginner here, but I’m eager to learn / adopt this platform instead of ELK.

Since the OSS version of Elasticsearch can do clustering of multiple servers, shard data across them, etc. - I’m assuming OpenSearch is or soon will support the same thing?
