# Specific Languages Analysis

Hi all,  
I have a question about language specific analysis.  
my indices might contain documents in languages like Chinese or German.  
Elasticsearch has language specific analyzers and specifically for Chinese there’s a plugin.

so my question is what happens in opensearch, when I index new documents, what’s my options for analyzer that can handle Chinese or German well?
