# Remove visibility to kibana components

**Versions** (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):  
opensearch v 2.17.1

**Describe the issue** : I want to remove visibility to opensearch plugins and the management sections in Kibana. I can restrict usage of these, but the fact users can see them will flood my team with requests for access.

@tod.glasgow Unfortunately the current security plugin and OpenSearch Dashboards design don’t provide ability to enable/disable specific parts of OpenSearch Dashboards UI.
