Hi all,

**Is there a prometheus exporter for OpenSearch Dashboards?**

- There is one such for Kibana: [GitHub - pjhampton/kibana-prometheus-exporter: Prometheus metrics for Kibana](https://github.com/pjhampton/kibana-prometheus-exporter).
- Basically, this exposes metrics like health of kibana plugins, num of requests received, num of connections, response time, uptime etc for kibana.
- But as stated in this [issue](https://github.com/pjhampton/kibana-prometheus-exporter/issues/235#issuecomment-922945017), it would not support for Dashboards.

There was a similar [query](https://forum.opensearch.org/t/opensearch-dashboards-exporter/10791) raised by [skunz](https://forum.opensearch.org/u/skunz) in the forum 2y back, but I guess it remained un-answered.

Is something like this already supported or in the plans for future?

Thanks,
Shivani

Hi.

I’ve created a new prometheus exporter for OpenSearch Dashboards that can be found here:
