# Point in time - comparison query

**Versions** (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):

**Describe the issue** :

I would like to query a PIT against my current index data, for things like.

“Show me all new products that matched a certain criteria since the PIT snapshot was taken”

Within the documentation I can only ever find searching within 2 indexes not within an index and its Point in time snapshot.
