# Opensearch Cluster and Index monitoring

**Versions** : OpenSearch/Dashboard 1.2.0

**Describe the issue** :  
Looking to get index and cluster performance metrics like we see in Kibana ([Elasticsearch Monitoring Metrics | Kibana Guide [8.7] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/elasticsearch-metrics.html)). Can you please advise how to get these on Opensearch Dashboards ?

Currently OpenSearch does not have that feature, but we have plan to implement that.

Hi, any tentative date on when this will be available? this is one feature which is a turnkey feature. currently it is very difficult to setup monitoring using third party tools like elastichq
