# OpenSearch.Client any plans for update 1.8 Nuget last updated 9/6/24

**Versions** (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser): 1.8

**Describe the issue** : I keep our client software updated. OS Client for .Net still 1.8 while opensearch has many significant updates since. Are there plans for an update?

@jrrancourt As per OpenSearch client Github releases, there were 3 versions released since July 2026 - 2.0.0, 2.1.0 and 2.2.0
