Versions : v2.10.0

Describe the issue:

Getting “no permission” error when trying to delete or change number of replica’s settings in .opendistro-anomaly-results-history-2024.08.01-1 index.

Configuration:

I’m using the default admin user to modify/delete the index.

Relevant Logs or Screenshots:

[security\_exception] no permissions for and User [name=admin, backend\_roles=[admin], requestedTenant=]

Got it working using the following

curl -XPUT [https://127.0.0.1:9200/.opendistro-anomaly-results-history-2024.08.01-1/\_settings](https://127.0.0.1:9200/.opendistro-anomaly-results-history-2024.08.01-1/_settings)" -H ‘Content-Type: application/json’ -d’{ “index”: { “number\_of\_replicas”:0 }}’ -k --cert /usr/share/opensearch/config/esnode.pem --key /usr/share/opensearch/config/esnode-key.pem
