# Monitor for a dashboard with "dynamic" filters

**Versions** (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser): v 1.3.2
**Describe the issue** : We have a dashboard we actively use to monitor our logs. This dashboard has many filters with exclusions/inclusions which are edited frequently as we investigate issues. Is there a way to create a monitor that automatically gets this dashboard’s configuration and alerts based on that? We would not want to include all we have in the filters in the monitor manually.

Since my dashboard is saved as an object under Stack Management → Saved objects, I wonder if there’s a way to specify the object in the definition of the extraction query in a monitor.
