# Logs doesn´t display in the dashboard

Good Afternoon everyone, I am a student and I am trying setting up an opensearch environement to test some security features. In order to do that, I followed [this data-prepper](https://github.com/opensearch-project/data-prepper/blob/main/examples/log-ingestion/README.md) guide on github. I also did set up the necessary configurations mentioned in Opensearch documentation for my Ubuntu 20 virutal machine.

Unforunately, logs aren´t being displayed in the dashboard. But when I add a new log entry, logs start to appear and when they appear they appear not indexed. I used the same docker-compose, log\_pipeline and fluent-bit.conf as in the guide above.

Can someone help me please, I ve been trying for days to figure this out.
