**Versions** (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):
2.11.1 Opensearch & Opensearch Dashboards

**Describe the issue** :
We are attempting to use TLS certificates which contain ECDSA signing algorithms and Opensearch Dashboards is throwing an error that it cannot find the certificate. I have opened this Feature request as it does not seem like Dashboards supports this type of certificate: [Support for TLS certificates withRSA public key size of 3096 and ECDSA signing algorithm. · Issue #5721 · opensearch-project/OpenSearch-Dashboards · GitHub](https://github.com/opensearch-project/OpenSearch-Dashboards/issues/5721). We would like to know what types of algorithms are allowed to be used for certifcates. I do not see anything in the documentation and we would like to be able to provide this info to our clients. Is there any place where this is documented?

**Configuration** :

Hi @jpelletier_2023,

Do you want to use TLS certificates to establish communication between OpenSearch Dashboards and OpenSearch or a client’s browser?
