# Group-by option in per bucket monitor not working

**Versions** (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):  
2.11.1 docker  
Edge Version 121.0.2277.112

**Describe the issue** :  
the group-by setting does not work for per bucket monitors anymore. usually it should create a column field in the alerts table which would group field occurences. that does not happen anymore.
