# Forum: support login with GitHub account

discourse (the forum software used here) supports SSO with GitHub accounts. it’d be great if this could be set up for the opensearch forum so that we can use our existing GitHub accounts to log in here (existing users will of course have to go to their settings and link their existing account to their GitHub account, new users in turn can just log in with a simple click).
there are also other SSO connectors (google, etc.), i don’t know how many might also want one of those. i think for a development forum where most people will anyway already have a GitHub account having SSO with GitHub is probably the most important one.
it’d mean one password less to manage 🙂
