Can't merge a non object mapping

Versions (relevant - OpenSearch/Dashboard/Server OS/Browser):
data-prepper:2.8.0
opensearch:2.15.0
opensearch-dashboards:2.15.0

Describe the issue:

I send the logs from the docker container to the data prepper from the vector, but the data prepper does not send them to opensearch, it displays the following error
